Solstice Building and Social Impact

“We are very honored to announce that we are donating a percentage of the proceeds of every project, to the charity of our clients’ choice. Together we can walk a path of service and social impact.”
-The Ghalili-Wuorenma Family

Here at Solstice Building, we believe that it is not only the obligation of a company to serve its clients with excellence but engage in meaningful ways to contribute to the positive transformation of society as a whole. This is a paradigm shift and an entirely new approach to business that means we take into consideration the collective versus the individual, with every project we choose to take on.

Solstice Building, since its formation has implemented a permanent grassroots-focused structure that includes a social impact arm which overseas all its operations and extends beyond the often temporary waives and marketing initiatives towards philanthropy that companies are often involved in.

Some of the duties of this social impact arm include the following:

  • Ensure that each project which serves the client does NOT pose harm to other members in the community
  • Preference will be given to projects that serve underrepresented populations
  • All employees to engage in regular anti-bias training, moral virtues-based training and community service activities
  • A percentage of the profits made by Solstice on every project will be donated to a charitable organization. We give our clients the honor of requesting the specific non-profit 501(c)(3) organization (held to ethical standards) they would wish to have us donate.
  • Consult and provide clients, wherever possible, on sustainable and environmentally-friendly building options relevant to the project.
  • Hiring processes to take into account ethnic and gender diversity
